Obituary of Ray C. Langley
Mr. Ray C. Langley, age 88 of Mossy Grove community, passed away Thursday February 2, 2017 peacefully at his home. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Ray was a lifetime member of Piney Baptist Church. He always loved hearing a good fox race with his son and friends. After Ray retired from A.B. Long Construction, he bought a small country store and drove a school bus. This left him time to enjoy trips to Dollywood with his grandkids and bus tours to the West, New England, and Canada, and a memorable to Hawaii with his wife.
Ray is now reunited with his grandson: Dustin Carter Kitts.
His brothers: Clarence and Randall, and his twin brother Roy.
His sisters: Edna and Wilma.
And his parents: Edgar and Dora Langley.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Shirley Baker Langley
One Daughter and Son-in-law: Debra and David Kitts.
One son: Darrell Langley.
Three grandchildren: Drew (Azure) Kitts, Bobby Langley, and Whitney (Eli) Masters.
Ray was so happy when, in 2013, he became a great grandpaw “PePaw” to: Mila Piper Kitts and Janelle Ray Ann Masters.
He is also survived by his sisters: Wanda and Betty Jo along with many precious nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday February 5, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Piney Baptist Church in Oakdale. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Pat McGee and Bro. Jim Disney officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
