Obituary of Dale Brooks
Mr. Thomas Dale Brooks, age 79 of Harriman, formerly of Sunbright, passed away Friday May 17, 2019 at Roane Medical Center. Dale was a veteran who served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1959 and the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Riggs Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Bertie Brooks.
And three sisters: Louise Parham, Lyda Mae Parham and Grace Smith.
He is survived by his wife: Anna Faye Brooks.
Three sons and one daughter-in-law: Tommy Brooks, Mike Brooks, and Gary and Becky Brooks.
Eleven grandchildren: Craig Brooks, Mandy Smith and her husband Brandon, Chelsea Henry, Rachel, Keith, Ashley, Paige, Joe, Bradly, and Hannah Brooks, Emily Marcum and her husband Grant.
Eight great grandchildren: Gunner and Harper Smith, Ethan, Raylon, Abijah, and Aliyah Brooks, Elaina Henry, and Iris King.
The family will receive friends Tuesday May 21, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Doug Grant officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM in Riggs Chapel Cemetery in Harriman.
