Obituary of Verna Maxine Monroe
Mrs. Verna Maxine Monroe, age 97 of Oak Ridge, formerly of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert Monroe.
And her parents: Ray and Mayme Marlow Jeffries.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Gil and Marta Monroe.
Two daughters and a son-in-law: Dr. Judith Ann Monroe and her husband Dr. Bob Lubitz, and Janet Sue Nell.
Five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A private interment will be held in Lawrence, Kentucky.
