Obituary of R. D. Daugherty

Mr. R. D. Daugherty, age 67 of Lancing, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at his home. He attended Meadow View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Virgil and Alta Griffith Daugherty. One brother: W. B. Daugherty. And one sister: Shelby Jean McNew. He is survived by his wife: Ella Davidson Daugherty. One brother: E.L. Daugherty of Lancing. Two sisters: Sona Faye Daugherty of Wartburg and Lenna Vee Smith of Oakdale. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday March 2, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Nance officiating. Gravesides services will be Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the Macedonia Cemetery.
