Obituary of Henrietta Murphy

Mrs. Henrietta Moore Murphy, departed this life September 17, 2018 at the age of 68 after an incredibly brave battle with illness. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and caring wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law and friend: Helen Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Joe Murphy.

Two daughters and sons-in-law: Ginger and Buddy Davis, Amy and Jack Clark.

Her parents: Henry and Georgia Moore.

Her grandchildren: Ashley (Aaron) Armes, Ryan (Sierra) Hamby, Lindsey (Zach) VanNorstran, Aaron Hamby, Bryson Bowling and Mary Grace Bowling.

Her great grandchildren: Addison and Aiden Armes, Neyland and Leland Hamby, and baby girl VanNorstan to be born in December.

Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Susan and Earl Powell, Robin and Chuck Summers.

Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Leonard and Tressa Murphy, Phillip Miller and Mildred Walker.

A host of nieces and nephews who she loved very much and also, her very special friends: Mary Nelson and Lyndsey Nelson.

A private family service was held.

The family would like to thank Lifecare Center of Morgan County for attended to her needs these last few weeks. Also, so many thanks to those who came to visit her. It was truly appreciated.
